Thank you for using Mirko Translation (the "App"). Your privacy matters to us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information. By using the App, you agree to this Policy.

1. Information We Collect

1. Translation Content: Text, voice, and images you submit in the Translate, Conversation, and Photo features are used solely to provide translation services to you.
2. Microphone & Speech Recognition: When you use "Hold to Speak" for voice translation, we access your microphone and use system speech recognition to convert speech to text for translation.
3. Camera & Photo Library: When you use camera translation or import images from your album, we read the selected images for text recognition (OCR) and translation.
4. Keyboard Extension: When you translate via the keyboard extension, we process the content you type and explicitly submit. We do not log or transmit any keystrokes unless you explicitly submit them.
5. Usage Data: We may collect anonymous usage statistics (such as feature usage frequency and crash logs) to improve the product experience.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide, maintain, and improve translation features;
• To process your translation requests and return results;
• To analyze usage trends and optimize performance;
• To troubleshoot issues and ensure security.

3. Permissions

The App may request the following system permissions, all of which can be disabled at any time in your device settings:

• Microphone — for voice input and translation;
• Speech Recognition — to convert speech to text;
• Camera — for photo translation;
• Photos — to select images for translation;
• Keyboard Full Access — to enable translation from the keyboard in any app.

Disabling permissions will not affect your normal use, but the corresponding features will not be available.

4. Storage & Sharing of Information

• Your translation history is stored only on your device, shared between the App and the keyboard extension via the system App Group.
• Your translation content may be sent to third-party translation / artificial intelligence services to complete the translation. We transmit only the minimum content necessary.
• We do not sell your personal information, nor do we share your personal data with third parties for advertising purposes.
• We will not disclose your personal information to any third party unless required by law.

5. Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or loss. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is completely secure.

6. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under the age of 13. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child, we will delete it as soon as possible.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a new effective date. We encourage you to review this Policy periodically.
